The Mission & Vision

Our mission is to promote the broader adoption of ESG practices and products within the affordable housing sector in emerging markets. By doing so, we envision making affordable housing more accessible to diverse populations and ensuring financing is sustainable. Increased funding into the affordable housing market will expand its positive impact on global communities.

Pamela Lamoreauex

 

Ms. Lamoreaux has over 35 years’ experience in developing financial markets in emerging markets, which spans housing finance, construction/development, equity and other structured financing, and ESG frameworks. She has worked for Fannie Mae, International Finance Corporation (IFC), and International Housing Solutions in South Africa. She has started several secondary market institutions in several countries that are still in operation. Prior to returning to the US four years ago, she had lived abroad in several emerging market countries including  9 years in South Africa.


Currently, Ms. Lamoreaux is acting as a consultant to several clients such as World Bank, OPIC, ALCB/KfW and others. She is currently completing a consultancy engagement with OPIC to provide due diligence on two proposed OPIC investments in Africa (Namibia and Rwanda).

Debbie Erb

Debra Erb is the founder of DLE Advisors, LLC, where she provides advisory services to organizations focused on expanding access to safe, affordable housing within sustainable communities globally. Additionally, she serves as the Director of AHI’s Chrysalis Housing Impact Accelerator, driving innovation and impact in the affordable housing sector. With over two decades of experience, Debra previously held the position of Managing Director of Community Infrastructure at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, where she led a team that committed nearly $3 billion in debt transactions across 31 countries. Her work included construction project finance, mortgage facilities, mortgage insurance, and capital market transactions.


Recently, Debra joined the Shelter Afrique Advisory Council and the board of Green City Homes International, an affiliate of Reall. She is also part of a specialized team collaborating with George Washington University to strengthen ESG capacity in housing enterprises.

Douglas Grayson

Douglas Grayson is the Founder and Managing Principal of DAJ Advisors, where he advises development finance institutions and multilaterals on housing finance strategies. His work includes supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and startups with sustainable business model creation, capital raising, and market development. Previously, Douglas served as Principal Financial Specialist and Global Product Head of Housing and Retail Finance at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), leading investment and advisory initiatives in emerging markets. Notably, he managed IFC's $1.2 billion housing finance portfolio through the 2008 financial crisis and restructured major housing finance investments.


Earlier, he held executive roles as CFO of Connaught Real Estate Finance, CIG International, and Fieldstone Mortgage Company. Douglas is a Certified Public Accountant with a background in accounting and real estate from institutions such as Johns Hopkins University and American University. He has served on several boards, including as Chair of the Audit Committee at Independence Federal Savings, and frequently speaks on housing finance and real estate at international conferences
