Mr. Favero has over 25 years of global real estate experience structuring and managing corporate portfolios, services, and strategy in high-growth environments. He has successfully led major transactions, site selections, and construction projects across multiple continents.


As the Head of Global Real Estate at Marriott International, Mr. Favero managed a vast portfolio of commercial holdings, spanning hundreds of locations worldwide.  He provided leadership and advisory on property acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and workplace initiatives. Notably, he played a key role in the integration of Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide real estate portfolio post-acquisition, optimizing the combined footprint to drive significant cost savings.


Prior to his tenure at Marriott, Mr. Favero served as Director of Corporate Real Estate at America Online (AOL), where he launched the real estate function from inception, oversaw a sizable leasehold portfolio, and led global expansion initiatives in support of the company’s foray into Latin America, Europe and Asia.  Among his significant accomplishments were the planning and development of multiple pioneering high-tech support and customer service facilities and negotiations with state and local governments that resulted in lucrative economic incentives.


Mr. Favero’s expertise extends to M&A integration, multicultural contract negotiations, workplace transformation, and Business to Education Partnerships. With his deep industry knowledge, strategic vision, and track record of spearheading multifaceted initiatives that engage both the public and private sectors, he is a valuable resource for shaping real estate strategies and driving effective outcomes for global organizations. 

Mr. Favero holds a master’s degree in international commerce and policy from George Mason University and a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Brigham Young University.
